For the past few months at The Harrow Club (Tuesdays), and The Reed (Thursdays), Kamitan Arts has created a space where Art met Poetry and Movement, while eclectic and relaxing Live Music was being played to inspire throughout. We have used these creative outlets as a means of expressing oneself, where each discipline became an inspiration and stimuli for the other. Whether it was a ‘lyrik’ or piece of art, we observed, discussed, and used these art forms as inspiration to create. A local Rap-Poetess/Choreographer led the project and guest artists on rotation included: 

Junior Tomlin, Andrew Cooper, Livingston Haynes, Marilyn Fontaine, Aaron G Brown, Mike Midas, Luke Eira and Princess Emmanuelle

Please come to this free family -friendly evening to support the talented children and young people that took part and to meet the artists that facilitated the sessions.  Come along to inspire the rapper, poet, artist or dancer in you!
