Volunteer

Over 350 local people volunteer their time with the Octavia Foundation each year, to support our work in central and west London supporting local people during times of personal difficulty or crisis. 

All of our volunteers receive full training and an induction relevant to their role. We reimburse agreed travel and lunch expenses and organise social events for our volunteers throughout the year.

Retail volunteer

Our retail volunteers play a crucial role in all of stores and make a significant contribution towards their success.

Volunteer befriender

We match volunteer befrienders to spend an hour a week with the resident and we ask for a commitment of six months.

Volunteer youth worker

We are currently looking for volunteer youth workers to support activities at BASE and to support our team on other projects throughout the year.

Corporate volunteers

We are always happy to receive enquiries about corporate volunteering opportunities and groups of volunteers.
