'Waking the Dead' with a local primary school

The Foundation’s Digital Media team have completed the first film for our ‘Waking the Dead’ project and have been working with children at St Thomas’s Primary School. The team ran three heritage workshops for the pupils including a tour of the Kensal Green Cemetery and a trip to Tate Britain which has a number of exhibits from artists who are buried at the Cemetery. The children took inspiration from the art to create original poetry and stories and are really enjoying engaging with local history.
